The Feather River Regional Flood Management team held a community meeting to review, discuss and collect comments on the Draft Feather River Regional Flood Management Plan. June 5, 2013 – Kickoff Meeting
Public agencies in your area are partnering to identify and address regional flood management challenges and opportunities within the Feather River basin – http://frrfmp.com/. With input from their communities, these public agencies will develop a Regional Flood Management Plan by mid-2014 that defines the long-term vision for flood risk reduction. The plan will include:
A kickoff meeting was held on June 5. At the meeting, the regional plan team presented a high-level version of a draft regional flood management plan, provided an overview of the plan development process, and outlined why public participation is critical.
